the Translator's Bookshelf is a special edition event dedicated to Nordic languages, organized by Cărturești in partnership with the Nordic Festival. Scheduled for Friday, February 14, 2025, at 7:00 PM, at Cărturești Verona, the event features translators Andreea Niță, Georgiana Bozîntan, Irina Marinescu Bergmann, Ivona Berceanu, and Iulia Dromereschi, with moderation by Simina Popa. Free admission
(in Romanian) Literature Discussion and Book Launch: "Literature of the Fjords: Between the Sky and Earth of Iceland in the Novels of Jón Kalman Stefánsson" with Dana Pîrvan and Magda Răduță, moderated by Alina Purcaru, on Saturday, February 15, at 13:00, at Cărturești Verona.
