Dear Ladies,
You are invited to a special private tour of the exhibition “Women Crafting the Future” at the Editura Muzeul Național al Literaturii Române on February 12th, at 11:00 AM.
This exhibition is organized by Academia de Artă Handmade București, a non-profit association dedicated to promoting Romanian handmade arts, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary creative work. Through this exhibition, they bring together a diverse collection of paintings, jewelry, decorative objects, and fashion items, all created by talented women artists and artisans.
A key part of this exhibition is the #WeAreHalf campaign, which will feature a display of remarkable women who serve as ambassadors for gender equality, highlighting their contributions across various fields such as business, politics, and the arts. This initiative is dedicated to raising awareness about the vital role women play in shaping our world and advocating for true balance and representation in all areas of society.
We are also proud to share that our very own IWA member, Ramona Pintea, will be exhibiting her Urban Queen paintings, a collection that aligns perfectly with the themes of women’s empowerment and self-expression. Her bold and vibrant works celebrate the inner strength and resilience of women, making her an inspiring voice within this exhibition.
Everyone is welcome to join the guided tour at 11:00 AM.
Following the tour, at 12:00 PM, a free hands-on creative workshop will be hosted by artist Magda Stan, where participants will create a beaded floral hair accessory. Only 7 spaces are available for the workshop, so please confirm if you would like to take part.
