ABOUT ALINA ȘERBANAlina Șerban is an actress, playwright, screenwriter, and the first Roma theater and film director in Romania. She is the president of the Untold Stories Association and a four-time winner of the “Best Actress” award in Germany for her role as Ali in “Gipsy Queen.” She is the first Roma artist to receive the Order of Cultural Merit, Knight’s grade, Category D, for artistic achievements from the President of Romania. For 15 years, through film and theater projects, Alina Șerban has fought against all forms of discrimination, advocating for gender equality, combating violence against women, and promoting minority rights.
